Our Shaped jigsaw puzzles are ready to decorate, disassemble and solve: eggs, stars, hearts, circles, pyramids, t-shirts, Christmas images, and card suits. Shaped jigsaws come in a variety of shapes on sturdy, lie flat, white, quality, pre-cut, 0.050 inch thick (about 6 business cards) and 0.070 inch thick (about 8 business cards) thick jigsaw board stock. Like our other type jigsaw puzzles, they come assembled together, not pieces in-a-box. These puzzle shapes do not separate while you are working on them. Just like Drawable jigsaw puzzles, shaped jigsaws can be hand drawn with pens, colored pencils, paints (no oil base), crayon, or water colors. Paint each egg a color, or write the same number, or letter, on each egg half; then separate them into two piles (one for the boys and the other for the girls, for example). Have each draw out an egg half and then find their match. Once their jigsaw puzzle is complete, they must report at least three things about the person they found. Or, place a math operation on one half and the answer on the mating half. Or, the picture of an item on one half and the word for that item on the other half.
Heart shaped jigsaws can be used to send (love) notes, or invitations. Write an appropriate note on the back of the heart jigsaw, disassemble it, send the pieces to your significant other, who can then solve the puzzle, read the note and color the heart.
